Muriqi: "I Have A Contract With A Team Where I'm Going To Play Preseason And Then We Have To Make A Decision."

Vedat Muriqi is the absolute protagonist in saving Mallorca. The Kosovan, who arrived on loan from Lazio in January, wowed fans and became an icon for the club.

Mallorca was keen to keep the player in La Liga but asked Lazio to lower their demands. As Marca pointed out, the meeting between Mallorca and Muriqi took place on May 23, and sources were informed of the intentions of the Iberians.

After the salvation, the player answered the call from Kosovo and today spoke at a press conference on the eve of the match against Greece for the Nations League.  

"Future? I don't care, now the season is over and I'm focused on the national team. I have three games left and then a month off. I'm mentally tired because the fight against relegation is very difficult."

The ex-Fenerbahce also spoke about the possibility of a return to Lazio:

"Right now I'm not thinking about my future. I'm focused on here. I have a contract with a team where I'm going to play preseason and then we have to make a decision. I have a contract and I'll respect that."
