Possible New Home Kit For Lazio In 2022-2023 Season

From the 2022-2023 season, Serie A club Lazio will wear jerseys made from Mizuno's new outfit. As we all know, Lazio announced a new partnership with Japanese sportswear company Mizuno last February.

Things have calmed down since then, with fans eagerly awaiting the future of the Lazio kit. Many Lazio fans have expressed dismay at Macron's jersey design, which has become rather bland in recent years.

As Il Tempo reports via LazioNews24, Mizuno has no plans to change Lazio's colours next season. This means that Lazio's home shirt will continue to be light blue. The away kit will be black and white.

Most uniquely, every Lazio jersey worn during the game contains a hologram. The idea is to attract more fans to Binance’s sponsorship platform, where they can buy fan tokens or holograms of T-shirts for specific games.

Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero has announced that Mizuno will sponsor Lazio's shirts for five years until 2027. Mizuno is said to have agreed on a contract value of around 5 million euros per season to Lazio. Previously, Macron Lazio's clothing guarantee was only 3.5 million euros per season.

According to footyheadlines.com, Lazio's listing is part of Mizuno's broader strategy to have a greater presence in the European football market in the coming years. They are also reportedly interested in next season's Bundesliga club, Bochum.

Mizuno has a place in the Italian league so far, despite their relatively small sponsorships with Serie B and C clubs such as Citadella, Cesena, and Sudtirol. Acquiring Lazio would certainly boost the brand's profile in Europe enormously.
