Auronzo Di Cadore Day 4

Another day of intensive training at Auronzo is over. There are two more training sessions today: one in the morning and one in the afternoon, the latter being the trigger point for newcomers.

MORNING - Training begins around 10 am with Lazio gathering in the gym for a muscle awakening. The first to separate are the midfielders and forwards, except for Immobile who remains in the gym. Sarri used two formations and faced both teams in a 4-3-3. With Cancellieri and Felipe Anderson at forwards, the 2002 class is not the first experience in this retreat as a center forward. Following the work, Sarri again worked on quick phrasing, ending with a shot.

The coach then sends the group back to the gym and calls up the defense. Defenders work mostly on the line, as Maurizio Sarri calls them. An important practice is also when sliding to the side, the coach wants a tight defense, like a single block.

AFTERNOON - The second session started at 5:45 pm. There are only newcomers and Immobile in the gym. During training, Pedro had ankle issues and Stefan Radu's muscle issues.

During training, Sarri watched the team from the sidelines, divided into three groups, who worked on the ball. Newcomers taste the field, but work individually and focus on the physical aspects. Immobile stay in the gym for simple management.

The training ended with a match decided by Mattia Zaccagni's goal. In the short challenge game, Sarri has a higher requirement for the speed of winning the ball, the longest time may be 4 seconds, no more.
