Jony Will Terminate His Contract With Lazio And Rejoin Sporting Gijon

Jony and Lazio are negotiating to end their contracts. However, from Spain, they are sure that the signing of a new contract will come soon.

Jony's future is further and further away from the capital. The Spanish winger, who had been out of the squad for a long time, underwent a medical and passed away on July 11, before training alone at Formello, followed by his personal trainer, Pep Roig.

The player is negotiating the termination of his contract with Lazio and his will is to return to Sporting Gijon, which is only possible if he is released.  They are optimistic about the success of the talks, and according to lavozdeasturias.es, Jony could sign a new contract with Sporting in the next few days.

After a lower-than-expected loan spell last season, Jony will be ready to return to the club he supports and loves. Sporting coach Abelardo Fernandez announces his willingness to welcome him and now that moment appears to be near.

Sources from Spain also say that Jony is expected to reach the retreat by July 27 and will have made himself available to the new athletic trainer Morga, to overcome several physical problems.  According to the Iberian portal, hopes of seeing him make his debut in a friendly match are high and far from impossible.

Awaiting confirmation: Jony and Lazio will soon say goodbye.
