Lazio Awaits Spezia's Decision After Agreement With Provedel's Agent Is Reached

Lazio is reportedly ready to complete the transfer of Ivan Provedel from Spezia after a positive meeting with the goalkeeper's agent on Sunday night (31/07). The Italian capital club requires another goalkeeper after signing Luis Maximiano from Granada.

Lazio is reportedly set to seal a deal this summer to sign Spezia goalkeeper Ivan Providel following a meeting with the player's agent. The Aquile has been searching for a new goalkeeper to partner with new signing Luis Maximiano following the departures of Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina earlier this month. Maurizio Sarri's side has been keeping an eye on Provedel and believes he fits the Italian coach's system.

The latest news reported by TMW shows that Biancoceleste president Claudio Lotito met with Provedel's agent in Formello on Sunday night to try to reach an agreement on the agent's commission included in the contract. An agreement has been reached and now Lazio only needs the green light from Spezia to complete the deal.

While Spezia is looking for a replacement for the Italian goalkeeper, there are two options, Fiorentina's Bartlomiej Dragowski and Atalanta's Marco Carnesecchi, who had been a target for The Aquile before they switched because La Dea's asking price is too high.
