[Europa League] Lazio - Feyenoord = 4 - 2

Lazio's side has the upper hand in their Europa League Group F opener against Feyenoord. The match, which ended 4-2, became the stage for former Inter player, Matias Vecino. Matias Vecino was in superb form in Lazio's 4-2 win over Feyenoord, with a brace alongside goals from Luis Alberto and Felipe Anderson.

Lazio, who had just suffered their first Serie A defeat of the season against Napoli, played at the Stadio Olimpico and kept rotation to a minimum. Coach Maurizio Sarri benched Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Manuel Lazzari, and Patric against Dutch side Feyenoord who lost last season's UEFA Conference League final against AS Roma.

It took less than four minutes to break the deadlock, with Luis Alberto and Matias Vecino completing a one-two, breaking the offside trap, and beating the goalkeeper one-on-one. In the 15th minute, it was Felipe Anderson's turn to approach the fans to celebrate Lazio's second goal. His low shot squirmed under the goalkeeper, who should have done better at the near post. The Aquile again managed to break into Feyenoord's goal in the 28th minute. Matias Vecino managed to put his name on the scoreboard and change the score to 3-0.

In the second half, The Aquile still seemed to be pressing. Despite an overwhelming lead, Sarri's side looks set to increase their goal tally. Lazio extended their lead in the 63rd minute with a goal from Vecino. The Aquile now leads Feyenoord 4-0.

Leading 4-0, Lazio eased off a bit. As a result, Feyenoord was able to steal 2 goals. The first was Santiago Jimenez's penalty in the 69th minute. In the 88th minute, Santiago Jiménez scored again, so the score became 4-2. This score does not change until the game ends.
