[Official] Lazio Send Durmisi To Leganés On Loan

After a disastrous start to the season with three games and three losses, Leganés will be looking to strengthen their defense on the final day of the transfer market. With that in mind, the club acquired an international from Denmark with extensive experience in La Liga and Serie A.

This is Riza Durmisi (28) from Lazio. The Danish full-back is returning to Spain after his experience with Real Betis, this time in the Segunda Division. Here is the official press release from the Spanish club, who will loan the player until his contract expires:

"CD Leganés and SS Lazio agreed on Thursday to sign 28-year-old left-back Riza Durmisi on a season-long loan. The Denmark international, with league experience at Real Betis, is strengthening his role as Imanol Idiakez's left-back for the current season 2022/23."
