[Serie A] Sassuolo - Lazio = 0 - 2


Lazio achieved success when they traveled to Sassuolo's headquarters in week 18 of the 2022-2023 Italian League, on Sunday (15/1/2023). At the Mapei Stadium, Lazio defeated their opponents 2-0.


Lazio's first goal was created by Mattia Zaccagni through the penalty spot in the 45+3 minute, then the second goal was contributed by Felipe Anderson in the 90+4 minute.


The match went pretty tough. Both teams are difficult developing the game. They remained in the middle of the field with numerous fouls taking place.


Ciro Immobile also had to be pulled out when the game was only 15 minutes. The Italian forward is suspected of having a thigh injury. Lazio's coach, Maurizio Sarri, then included Pedro as a substitute for Immobile.


With this victory, Lazio is currently in fifth place with a collection of 34 points and Sassuolo is currently in 16th place with 16 points.
