Kezman Still Has Not Agree With Lazio's Proposal To Extend Milinkovic's Contract

Milinkovic's renewal: the clause in the contract that allowed for a release was different. Lotito rates him twice Kezman's demand. An agreement between the parties is still far from being reached.

Il Messaggero recently reported that there has been no progress in the renewal of the contract between the agent of Milinkovic, Kezman, and Lazio, this agent remains unconvinced of the extension option except with a low release clause (between 30 and 40 Million euros). A figure that is significantly lower than the one that Lotito deems him to be, or at least 80 Million.

To address this issue, Igli Tare was granted a special assignment by Lotito as a moderator to prevent Sergej from leaving without a penny of income.

Sergej and his agent have already decided it's time to attempt a new adventure. It will be the summer of the crossroads, never before. In June, it will have been one year before his contract expired, and in January 2024, he will have been able to sign for another team. Agent Kezman reiterated to Lotito at the end of January that the player wants new experiences but does not want to leave Lazio with the club to gain nothing. For this to happen, an exit strategy must be agreed upon.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Premier League is still the most likely destination. Newcastle and West Ham have also expressed interest in Arsenal. The Gunners lead both the English league and Milinkovic's preferences list.
