Aside From Emil Audero, There Are Two More Candidates For Lazio's Next Backup Goalkeeper

It is common knowledge that Luis Maximiano is not part of coach Maurizio Sarri's plans for the Lazio team in the upcoming 2023/2024 season. The Portuguese goalkeeper did not demonstrate his skill during his first season with Lazio, resulting in his inclusion in the team's transfer list.

Maximiano's future in Italy is uncertain, as he may either join Fiorentina or pursue opportunities abroad, specifically in Spain. On the other hand, Lazio has set their sights on Emil Audero Mulyadi, the goalkeeper from Sampdoria.

In the upcoming summer transfer market, one player being considered as a potential addition to Lazio is Emil Audero. The intention is to have him serve as a backup for Ivan Provedel. It is worth noting, however, that Lazio has expressed interest in other goalkeepers as well, as reported by Il Messaggero.

As reported by the Italian newspaper, Lazio has shown significant interest in acquiring the services of Emil Audero due to his extensive expertise in the field of goalkeeping.

Emil Audero has garnered attention from not just Lazio, but also two other top teams, namely Inter Milan and Napoli. These top-tier clubs have joined the competition to secure Audero's services.

Lazio is also keeping an eye on Stefano Turati, the goalie who won the Serie B championship with Frosinone but is owned by Sassuolo.

Aside from that, Lazio is interested in Tommaso Martinelli, a young goalkeeper from Fiorentina's youth team. Roberto Mancini has now called him for a trial with the Italian national team.
