Four Serie A Clubs Interested In Recruiting Cancellieri From Lazio

As the summer transfer market approaches, reports suggest that four clubs from Serie A have been keeping a close eye on Lazio's young and promising talent, Matteo Cancellieri. Cancellieri, an Italian forward, was recently acquired by The Aquile from Hellas Verona during the previous season.

Four Serie A clubs are said to be closely monitoring the progress of Lazio's promising young talent, Matteo Cancellieri, intending to sign him in the upcoming summer transfer window. The 21-year-old Italian striker was loaned to the capital club last summer from Hellas Verona, with a contractual obligation to buy. Cancellieri's arrival has injected an element of youthful enthusiasm into Maurizio Sarri's squad, and while he may still be inexperienced, he is an exciting addition to the team's forward line.

Despite playing in 30 matches across all competitions this season, Cancellieri has only been on the field for 602 minutes and has yet to make a direct contribution to any goals. Furthermore, he has been absent from Serie A matches in recent months, indicating that he may not have fully adapted to playing at the Olimpico.

Torino, Fiorentina, Empoli, and Salernitana have all made approaches to the Biancoceleste to discuss a possible transfer for Cancellieri, according to the Corriere dello Sport.  This season, the attacker is expected to be unable to compete with the senior players in the attack line of the Italian capital club.

Meanwhile, The Aquile are aiming to include the 21-year-old in a deal to sign Sassuolo winger Domenico Berardi, but are also likely to hold talks with other clubs if their negotiation does not materialize in the coming weeks.
