Lazio Will Play Against Barcelona And Juventus In The Pre-Season Friendly Match

Lazio is said to have begun pre-season preparations by booking three friendly matches against big European teams, including Aston Villa, Barcelona, and Juventus.

According to reports, Lazio is currently devising a pre-season training program that they will undertake following the summer break. This plan involves playing friendly matches against three of Europe's top clubs.

The 2022/23 Serie A season came to a close with the Aquile securing an unexpected second place in the final standings. This remarkable feat also earned them a spot in the upcoming season of the prestigious Champions League tournament. This achievement marks the team's highest ranking since their Scudetto triumph during the 1999/2000 season.

In the upcoming season, Maurizio Sarri aims to enhance his team's depth and competitiveness by bringing in 4 to 5 new players. He hopes to provide his team with the necessary resources to compete in various competitions. Additionally, preparations for the upcoming season are underway as Sarri has already begun planning the pre-season program.

Lazio has announced that they will be starting their training camp at Auronzo di Cadore from 11 July to 28 July, as reported by Radiosei. This move is intended to give the players sufficient time to work with the coach for two weeks in a more relaxed environment.

There will be no second training camp, and instead, they will play some of their scheduled friendlies.  The Aquile will meet Aston Villa in a friendly on August 3, before heading to Spain to play Barcelona on August 8.  And on August 13, Maurizio Sarri's side will face Juventus at an undetermined location.
