[Official] Rovella Moved To Lazio On Loan For 2 Years With Obligation To Buy

The signing of Nicolo Rovella from Juventus to Lazio has been officially declared following the completion of his medical examination at the Paidea clinic on August 16th, according to local time. As stipulated, he signed a two-year loan contract that includes a mandatory purchase clause, conditional upon fulfillment of certain terms.

The midfielder, who is 21 years old, commenced his career with Genoa by becoming a member of their academy team in 2017. He eventually made his senior debut in 2019, two years later. In 2021, Rovella transferred to the Bianconeri, securing a three-and-a-half-year contract for a fee of 18 million euros, which eventually rose to 20 million euros. He was promptly loaned to Genoa for the 2021/22 season.

During the previous season, Rovella was loaned to the recently promoted Monza football club. He participated in a total of 27 matches across all competitions and managed to score a single goal during his time there.

The Biancoceleste are set to welcome more than just a midfielder. Reports suggest that the capital club is on the verge of finalizing the acquisition of full defender Luca Pellegrini within the upcoming days. This deal is said to involve a loan arrangement, coupled with a requirement to make the purchase. It's been stated that The Aquile are allocating 21 Million Euros to secure both players' presence at the Stadio Olimpico.
