[Official] Two Of Lazio's Target Players Have Chosen To Join Inter Milan

To ensure a successful navigation of the 2023-2024 season, Inter Milan has made two crucial player transfers. These transfers involve Emil Audero, a goalkeeper from Sampdoria, and Lazar Samardzic, a midfielder from Udinese. Both players are expected to make significant contributions to the team's performance.

After arriving in Milan on Wednesday night to undergo medical evaluations and sign contracts, both players are set to finalize their transfers. The highly-touted prospect from Udinese will sign a five-year agreement, while the goalkeeper will be joining the team on a loan from Sampdoria.

Inter Milan can breathe a sigh of relief with the addition of Audero to their team because they already have at least two goalkeepers who can be relied on after Andre Onana left for Manchester United, and released Samir Handanovic. Previously, Inter had announced the signing of Yann Sommer from Borussia Moenchengladbach.

Initially, Lazio intends to sell Luis Maximiano in the summer transfer market of 2023 and replace him with Sampdoria goalkeeper Emil Audero. However, because Audero has chosen to join Inter, Lazio President Claudio Lotito has suspended all ongoing talks for Maximiano until they can find a replacement.
