[Official] Luiz Felipe Leaves Betis After Only One Season To Join Al-Ittihad

Luiz Felipe has officially made his way to Saudi Arabia, as expected. Al-Ittihad have announced the acquisition of the former Lazio defender after overcoming the obstacles that caused the negotiations to stretch out. In the past few hours, the two parties have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of the ex-Lazio player from Betis to the Saudi team. Consequently, he bids farewell to the Spanish club where he had played 34 games, spanning from last season until the current one that has recently commenced.

The Italian-Brazilian, after having undergone the usual medical examinations yesterday, signed a three-year contract and the Spanish club received 25 million euros from the sale. The announcement of his signing was released by his new team through the official social media channels, accompanied by a distinctive video.

The central defender is the fifth reinforcement of the club from Jeddah this season. Preceding him were Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Fabinho, and Jota, each reinforcing the club in their way.
