[Official] Spaletti Has Called Up Lazzari To Join Italy's National Team

Manuel Lazzari, a full-back from Lazio, has been newly summoned to join the Italian national team. He will be replacing Davide Calabria, who sustained an injury during the previous match against Lecce.

Italy's national football team, the Azzurri, are preparing for their last Euro 2024 qualifying matches against North Macedonia and Ukraine. These are crucial games, as Italy needs to win to secure a place in the tournament, which will be held in Germany next summer. If Italy doesn't win these two games, they will still have a final chance to qualify through the play-offs.

At first, Spalletti had contemplated the idea of forgoing the inclusion of any additional players. However, within the past few hours, he has altered his stance. The Biancoleste full-back will now take up the mantle of the blue shirt once again, following his previous appearance in the Grand Final against Argentina in June of 2022.
