Lazio's Plans For Handling Contracts With Squads For The Upcoming Season

Lazio are currently in discussions regarding the renewal of Ivan Provedel's contract and are actively seeking solutions for various contract issues within their squad. There is a possibility of losing key winger Felipe Anderson on a free transfer in the summer, with Juventus showing interest in acquiring his services. Consequently, the club is keen on retaining important players in Maurizio Sarri's team.

During the January transfer window, Lazio remained relatively inactive in terms of player recruitment for the first team. Therefore, they are eager to avoid losing integral components of their squad in the upcoming summer transfer window and are working towards resolving internal matters.

According to reports from Corriere dello Sport, Lazio's sporting director Angelo Fabiani is diligently working on securing Provedel's new contract, which includes a salary increase and an extension until June 2028. Following this, attention will shift to negotiating new contracts for Alessio Romagnoli and Mattia Zaccagni. Zaccagni, in particular, is growing impatient due to delays in finalizing his contract extension, with discussions currently stalled over salary terms.
