Lazio's captain, Ciro Immobile, achieved a significant milestone by becoming the third quickest player in Serie A history to reach 200 goals, accomplishing this feat in 341 matches. Immobile sealed this achievement with a goal during Lazio's 3-1 victory over Cagliari on Saturday. The seasoned striker found the net from close range, beating goalkeeper Simone Scuffet.

This goal marked Immobile's 200th in Serie A, achieved in just 341 appearances, according to reports from Football-Italia. His accomplishment places him behind Giuseppe Meazza, who reached 200 goals in 296 matches, and Gunnar Nordahl, who achieved it in 238 matches.

Immobile's feat surpasses the records of Silvio Piola in 363 matches, Antonio di Natale in 400 matches, Jose Altafini in 407 matches, Roberto Baggio in 443 matches, and Francesco Totti in 466 matches.

Only eight players have reached the 200-goal mark in Italy's top division. Immobile has represented Lazio 258 times, Torino 47 times, Genoa 33 times, and Juventus 3 times. Among his 200 goals, 168 were scored with Lazio, 27 with Torino, and 5 with Genoa.
