Lazio Will Be Missing Felipe Anderson Due To An Injury Suffered During Their Coppa Italia Match Against Juventus


Lazio experienced a bitter disappointment as they were knocked out of the Coppa Italia despite winning the second leg of the semi-final against Juventus 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico last Tuesday. Adding to their woes, Felipe Anderson, a key player coached by Igor Tudor, is set to be sidelined due to a painful toe injury.


Felipe Anderson disclosed the severity of his injury sustained during the Coppa Italia victory over Juventus, shedding light on the intensity of the match.


The 31-year-old Brazilian showcased an impressive performance in Lazio's 2-1 triumph over Juventus at the Stadio Olimpico, playing for 61 minutes before being substituted for Matias Vecino.


Although Lazio secured a victory in the second leg against Juventus, it was insufficient to overturn their defeat in the first leg, resulting in their elimination from the Coppa Italia semi-finals with a 3-2 aggregate loss. Nevertheless, Igor Tudor's team demonstrated a commendable performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
