Lazio's Chase For The Argentine Winger Valentin Carboni, Who Is Currently With Monza

According to Il Tempo, there is news that Lazio is eyeing Valentin Carboni as part of a potential summer overhaul in 2024. Carboni, an Argentine winger currently on loan to Monza from Inter, has impressed with consistent performances in the league, including scoring a goal against Juventus. This interest is expected to be revisited during the 2024 summer transfer window.

Born in 2005, Carboni is known for his speed and technical abilities. He has had a standout season with Palladino's team, contributing 2 goals and 4 assists along with several impressive displays.

Valued highly both on and off the field, Carboni's market price has reportedly risen to around 15 million euros due to his young age and quality of play. Argentina's national team coach Scaloni has also taken notice, including Carboni in the world champion national team squad.

However, negotiations for Carboni won't be straightforward. Inter is reluctant to lower their asking price, especially since Carboni could play a crucial role in their pursuit of Gudmundsson from Genoa. Despite this, Genoa has reportedly rejected the idea of player exchanges for now.
