Ivan Provedel's Comeback: Lazio's Keeper Sets Sights On Euro 2024

Ivan Provedel is set to make his comeback for Lazio after being sidelined for over two months due to an injury, with hopes of securing a spot in the Azzurri squad for Euro 2024 in Germany.

Lazio is eagerly anticipating the return of their main goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel, who has been out of action for two months. The 30-year-old, who has impressed since joining from Spezia in the summer of 2022, missed eight consecutive Serie A matches after suffering an ankle injury in the final minutes of a match against Udinese last March.

Coach Tudor is expected to give Provedel a chance to play in the final two games of the season. Provedel started in Lazio's recent match against Inter Milan and delivered a solid performance, effectively guarding the goal against Inter's attacks.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Provedel aims to quickly prove his worth to The Aquile in the last two matches and make a strong case to Italian coach Luciano Spalletti ahead of the upcoming Euro 2024 in Germany.

With Gianluigi Donnarumma and Guglielmo Vicario likely to be selected for the Azzurri squad, Provedel will be competing with Matteo Carnesecchi and Alex Meret for the remaining goalkeeper position at Euro 2024.
