Lazio Set Sights On LASK's Ljubicic Amid Summer Squad Overhaul

Lazio have been linked with a transfer for promising LASK striker, Marin Ljubicic, as Igor Tudor's team plans a squad overhaul next summer with several new players.

Reports suggest that Lazio's sporting director, Angelo Mariano Fabiani, is targeting Marin Ljubicic from LASK. The club is preparing for significant business in the summer transfer window, with Tudor looking to reshape his squad for his new project in Rome.

Several changes are expected, including the departures of Luis Alberto and possibly Ciro Immobile. In recent years, Lazio has struggled to find a reliable striker in the transfer market, and Immobile's potential departure adds pressure to find a suitable replacement. Valentin Castellanos is likely to be a starter next season after showing promising signs.

According to FussbalTransfers, the Biancoceleste are interested in Ljubicic, who has scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions this season. The 22-year-old has a contract with the Austrian club until June 2027 and is valued at around 15 million Euros, which is considered affordable for Lazio.

Additionally, Felipe Anderson has been confirmed to move to Palmeiras at the end of the season, further weakening Lazio's attack.
