Lazio Mark Milestone In New York, Pursue International Growth At Nasdaq

While rumors have dominated headlines in Rome, Lazio’s management made a powerful statement abroad by celebrating the club’s 125th anniversary at the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in New York City—right in the heart of the financial world. The event, attended by key club figures Emanuele Floridi and Enrico Lotito, wasn’t just a photo opportunity. It marked the beginning of new ambitions, signaling Lazio’s intent to expand their influence and build international connections.

The Biancoceleste crest lit up Times Square as the club’s emblem was projected onto the iconic Nasdaq building, a symbolic gesture reflecting Lazio’s desire for global recognition. During the visit, the delegation met with Jordan Saxe, Nasdaq’s head of primary listings, to discuss opportunities that could one day see Lazio shares offered to US investors through American Depositary Receipts (ADRs). While still an early idea, it reflects the club’s openness to exploring new horizons and attracting an international investor base.

The three-day New York tour coincided with the FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, providing Lazio the chance to network with major players in the sports and media industries. Crucially, the club’s delegation sat down with leaders from Legends, the global powerhouse overseeing Yankee Stadium and now a key partner in Lazio’s ambitious Flaminio Stadium redevelopment. These talks aim to bring the experience and innovation of world-class venues to Rome.

Expanding global partnerships was also at the top of the agenda, with meetings involving DAZN’s top brass and investors seeking to increase Lazio’s reach through media, original content, and technological innovation. From DAZN’s editorial productions to exploring new media opportunities, the club are focused on amplifying their brand beyond Italy’s borders.

Despite a packed schedule of institutional and business meetings, the highlight remained the club’s milestone celebration at Nasdaq—a reminder that Lazio’s history is matched only by their appetite for growth. The presence of executives like Jordan Saxe further underlined the sense of opportunity, as Lazio explores pathways for future investment, internationalization, and strategic innovation.
