[Official] Lazio Primavera Duo Nazzaro And Zazza Embark On New Adventures With Team Altamura

Lazio’s summer transfer activity continues to focus on player sales, as two of the Primavera’s brightest talents, Marco Nazzaro and Matteo Zazza, make the move to Team Altamura in Serie C. The club’s ongoing outgoing market isn’t just about offloading surplus senior players, but also about offering promising youngsters the opportunity to gain valuable first-team experience elsewhere.

After five formative years with the Biancoceleste youth setup, Marco Nazzaro is set for a new chapter. The 2005-born midfielder, known for his leadership as Primavera captain, has signed a two-year contract with Team Altamura, where he is expected to play a key role in their 2025/26 Serie C campaign. Nazzaro’s versatility in midfield and his tactical intelligence were major draws for the Apulian club, whose coach, Devis Mangia, now welcomes him as a pivotal new addition.

Not far behind is Matteo Zazza, another highly rated 2005-born talent from the Lazio academy. The young defender has also penned a two-year deal with Team Altamura, including an option for a third season. Zazza impressed not only as a reliable presence in defense for Lazio Primavera but also earned first-team call-ups last season. Altamura sees him as a perfect fit for their system, able to play both in a three-man defense or as a wing-back.

For both Nazzaro and Zazza, this move represents a significant step in their development—one that could ultimately see them return to Lazio with greater experience and maturity. For Team Altamura, their arrivals are viewed as transfer coups, bringing in youthful energy and Serie A academy pedigree as the club looks to make its mark in Serie C.
