[Official] Sarri To Be Introduced In Highly Anticipated July 24th Press Conference

After weeks of anticipation and earlier controversy surrounding media access, S.S. Lazio have officially scheduled the press conference to present Maurizio Sarri as the club’s new head coach. The press conference, originally set for early July, was postponed after strong protests from both the press and the Association of Journalists over the lack of in-person attendance. Sarri, who returns to the coaching scene after a year and a half away, will address the media and the club for the first time since his resignation in early 2024. Renowned for his proactive, possession-based football, the Tuscan tactician brings a wealth of experience from successful spells with Empoli, Napoli, Juventus, and Chelsea. Joining Sarri at the podium will be two pillars of the club’s leadership: President Claudio Lotito and Sporting Director Angelo Fabiani. Lotito, who has led Lazio since 2004, and Fabiani, instrumental in squad management during a turbulent transfer window, are expected to outline their vision for the club’s future. However, according to Sky Sport journalist Matteo Petrucci—who previewed the event on Radio Laziale—it remains unclear whether journalists will have the opportunity to pose questions to the president and sporting director.
