[Official] Shpuza Joins Lazio Primavera From Udinese After Weeks Of Negotiations

Lazio have added a new face to their Primavera team: Kleon Shpuza, born in 2007. The Albanian winger joins on a permanent deal from Udinese after several weeks of talks, as reported by Gazzetta Regionale. Now he’s ready to start his journey in Rome.

Shpuza is a quick, attacking wide player with good technique and vision. He grew up in Udinese’s youth academy and soon showed real promise, drawing interest from several Italian clubs. Lazio decided to move for him because they believe in his potential and think he can adapt fast to a higher level.

The transfer took time, but it’s now complete. Lazio worked hard to secure a player they view as one of the more interesting prospects of his age group. Making the move permanent shows the club’s trust in him and their plan to invest in his growth.

First, Shpuza will join the Albania U19 training camp. After that, he will come to Formello to work with coach Punzi’s Primavera squad. For now, he will be registered as a “series youth player.” The agreement also includes a future resale clause set between 30% and 40%. Between October and November, if the current transfer ban issues are resolved, Lazio and the player’s camp plan to meet again to discuss his contract.

For Lazio Primavera, Shpuza’s arrival strengthens the attack and adds depth to the group. For the player, it’s a big step: a chance to make a name for himself in the Italian youth leagues and, with hard work, maybe earn a call-up to the first team one day. It’s a smart move for a club that is putting more focus on developing young talent.
