Andreas Pereira Admits That He Wants Return To Lazio

Manchester United midfielder, Andreas Pereira, admits that he has a very strong desire to be able to return to strengthen Lazio again.  Pereira admits that he can still give a lot for the club from the Italian capital.

Last season, Andreas Pereira decided to go on loan at Lazio.  But the Brazilian star has made just 26 appearances in all competitions, starting just three times.

However, Pereira who has now returned to Manchester United admits that he still has the desire to return to defend the Capital Eagle team in the 2021/22 season.  The 25-year-old midfielder admitted that he believes he can give a lot if he is allowed to play more.

"Rome could be my definitive home. I had an amazing period there," Pereira told gianlucadimarzio.com.

"At Lazio, I always give my best when I get the opportunity. I think my performance could be much better if I had more opportunities and was given the freedom to play. When you only come on at the end of the game, the task you carry out tactically will not be optimal."

"I would like to return to the Biancoceleste if I was given more playing time," he concluded.

Pereira's chances of leaving Man United are quite large.  Because next season, Pereira is predicted to find it difficult to appear regularly in the first team because Manchester United already has other top midfielders in Bruno Fernandes, Donny van de Beek, Paul Pogba, and Jesse Lingard.
