Muriqi: "I'm Not Going Back To Fenerbahce"

The Kosovar player returned to Italy after two days in Turkey, where he met old friends and gave an interview.

Two days in Istanbul to meet some old friends and give an interview that will be published in the next few days and then the return to Rome to resume training with Lazio.

Vedat Muriqi left this morning, returned to the capital with a flight that left around 6.30 in the morning.  The striker will be under Sarri's orders today for the resumption of preparation and on Monday he will leave for Marienfeld.

No contact with Fenerbahce, it's not a hot track at the moment.  Lazio is willing to talk about Muriqi but is demanding at least a loan with a redemption obligation set at 13-14 million and no one has come close to such a request so far.

After all, Lotito does not want a capital loss.  Muriqi remains with Lazio for now, as he confirmed to a Fenerbahce fan who intercepted him at the airport in Istanbul: "With Fenerbache there is nothing and most likely I will stay with Lazio".

Not a certainty, but the chances that Kosovar is part of the 2021-2022 squad are high.
