Fenerbahce And Galatasaray Are Interested In Muriqi's Services For Next Season

Despite a satisfactory performance at La Liga club RCD Mallorca in the second half of the 2021/22 season, Kosovo international striker Vedat Muriqi is reportedly set to return to Lazio next summer.

Kosovo striker Vedat Muriqi, 27, joined Spanish club RCD Mallorca on a six-month loan in January after failing to convince Maurizio Sarri in the first half of the season. A €12 million purchase option is embedded in the contract. However, he immediately made an impact in La Liga by scoring three goals and contributing one assist.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Mallorca is not ready to sign Muriqi permanently in the summer, and he will return to Lazio at the end of the season, regardless of relegation.

The Kosovo striker will be looking for new clubs, with Fenerbahce and Galatasaray both looking to sign him in the summer and the deal is due as the Italian capital club is keen to let him go likely to happen.

The 27-year-old's contract with the Biancoceleste will run until 2025, Muriqi has made 49 appearances in all competitions and only contributed two goals for the capital team. And the burden of scoring goals still rests on the shoulders of the main striker, Ciro Immobile.
