Milinkovic-Savic Set European Record With His Goal Against Spezia

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had a productive season at Lazio, scoring and assisting in double figures. The Serbian midfielder made achievements in five major European leagues through his goal against Spezia in the match last Saturday night.

Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, 27, returned to the scoresheet for Lazio in a dramatic 4-3 win over hosts Spezia by scoring his side's third goal.  It was his 10th goal of the season, a sign of his strength this season under manager Maurizio Sarri.

As DAZN reports, Milinkovic-Savic is currently joining Christopher Nkunku and Dimitri Payet at an exclusive club, the three midfielders in Europe's top five for the 2021/22 season. All three of them have scored double-digit goals and assists in the league.

The 27-year-old midfielder is under contract at Lazio until 2024, but it looks likely he will move to a bigger club this summer. The club is finally ready to sell him, and several top European clubs are ready to fight for him, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, and Juventus, who are all looking to sign him this summer.

Meanwhile, the three perfect points achieved by the Biancoceleste did not change the position of Maurizio Sarri's team on the table, they are still in sixth place with a collection of 59 points from 35 matches played.  But now they have the same points as the city club, AS Roma who only won a draw against Bologna in the match last Sunday night.
