Vavro: "I Think I'm Going To Be A Copenhagen Player, Maybe Friday Or Saturday. What's Missing From The Closure? These Are The Questions You're Going To Ask My Agent."

Denis Vavro is one of the players Lazio is hoping to put in the transfer market this summer. A deal with Copenhagen, the team the defender played for in the second half of the just-concluded season, was close, but something was still missing.

As a guest on the BT 'The transfer widow' podcast, the player spoke about it but expressed hope for the outcome of the deal.

"I am positive. I'm positive every day and I think I'm going to be a Copenhagen player. I think the transfer will happen this week, maybe Friday or Saturday. But I'm not sure, now I'm going home to the airport, I'm flying back to Slovakia. What's missing from the closure? I don't know. These are the questions you're going to ask my agent."

Previously, Il Messaggero reported that the two sides appeared to be close to an agreement that would allow Lazio to sell Vavro, which they consider to be a surplus of the team. Lotito and Tare ask 4.5 million for him, but Copenhagen has put 3.7 million plus 10% on future resale. There is still optimism about the swift completion of the deal.
