Lazzari Ready To Resume His Training Soon But Unlikely To Start Against Spezia

Lazio is reportedly optimistic about the recovery of one of their key full-backs, Manuel Lazzari, who has missed Maurizio Sarri's two games with a hamstring injury. The Italian is ready to resume training with his teammates this week.

Manuel Lazzari is reportedly recovering from a hamstring injury and Lazio is optimistic that he will return to action soon. The 28-year-old Italian full-back suffered a right hamstring injury in the 2-0 win over Verona earlier this month and had to leave the pitch in pain. He missed games against FC Midtjylland and Cremonese and wants to get back on the field soon.

According to Il messaggero, Lazzari is making good progress in his recovery from injury and the Biancoceleste are increasingly confident he can return to the squad. The 28-year-old is ready to return to training with his teammates this week but is unlikely to start against Spezia this weekend as the club does not want to rush him while he is still recovering from injury.

Lazzari has become a key player for Lazio in Maurizio Sarri's squad, proving a confident right-back in the back four and being active in attack and defense.
