[Official] Ex-Lazio Striker Returns To Italy To Play For Arezzo


At 34 Libor Kozak decided to return to Italy. The Czech striker, who is known for his imposing physicality, recently received an offer from the Tuscany region. On August 8th, he was officially announced as a player for the Arezzo squad under coach Paolo Indiani, who will be competing in the Serie C championship.


After the conclusion of his contract in Zlín, the 34-year-old forward, Kozák, has signed a one-year deal with SS Arezzo, a third-division club. The team officially announced his arrival on their website. Kozák aims to reignite his career in the same championship where he previously thrived with the Biancoceleste.


During his time in Italy, he was a player for Lazio, he spent five years there and during the 2012/13 season, he achieved the title of top scorer in the Europa League, having scored eight goals in total. In addition to his time with Lazio, he also played for Livorno, Bari, and Brescia.


Outside of Italy, he played for Sparta Prague, Liberec, and Slovácko in the Czech League, Aston Villa in England, and Puskás Academy in Hungary.
