Augsburg Have Inquiry About The Possibility Of Basic's Transfer From Lazio

Lazio remains active on the transfer market, not only in acquiring new players but also in offloading existing ones. One such player is Toma Basic, whose name has been included in the list of players that may be sold, despite his stated desire to remain in the capital, as he reiterated after the match against Aston Villa. However, this stance may change if an alluring proposal from another team of comparable caliber arrives in Formello.

According to Nicolò Schira, two Bundesliga teams have expressed interest in the midfielder and have conducted preliminary inquiries. However, Lazio has set a price range of 8 to 9 million for the sale of the Croatian.

Augsburg is one of the two German clubs that have shown interest in the player. Nevertheless, the German club has taken a step back from pursuing the matter, as the numbers requested by Lazio are deemed prohibitively high.

The new number 26 scored his first goal in Serie A in last season's final against Sassuolo and wants to establish himself permanently after two years in the shadow of his teammates.  Clearly for the Biancoceleste, which rises high for the former Bordeaux.
