Defender Casale And His Agent Vow To Fight Back Against Damaging Gambling Allegations

The agent for Nicolo Casale, a defender for Lazio, has refuted the allegations leveled against the Italian player concerning his supposed participation in the Serie A unlawful gambling scandal. The agent issued a formal statement in defense of his client.

Fabrizio Corona, a Paparazzi Italian journalist, recently disclosed three additional players involved in the gambling controversy. Among these players is Nicolo Casale, along with Federico Gatti and Stephan El Shaarawy.

Earlier reports indicated that the Turin prosecutors had not discovered any proof of the involvement of the three players in the controversy. The agent representing the defender of Biancoceleste has now refuted the accusations.

According to Get Football News, the agent made a statement that was released to the public. The statement read as follows:

"Throughout his life, Nicolo Casale has dedicated himself solely to his sporting endeavors and has never engaged in gambling on any sporting events. Despite his clear record, unfounded allegations and malicious defamation continue to spread regarding his supposed involvement in the football gambling inquiry."

The agent of the Lazio defender also indicated their intention to pursue legal action against the accusations, as they have harmed the former Verona star's reputation in the world of football.

He stated: "Due to his complete lack of involvement in the investigation and the gravity of the accusations leveled against him, we plan to file a lawsuit against those responsible for defamation and slander, as well as those who disseminated these allegations through various media channels."

The allegations against Casale carry significant weight, especially given Nicolo Fagiolo's seven-month ban and Sandro Tonali's anticipated suspension after admitting his involvement in the incident. Nicolo Zaniolo may face a similar fate. It's important to note that not all accusations related to the incident have been substantiated.
