Castellanos Has Been Named To Scaloni's Argentina Pre Call Up List

Valentin Castellanos is currently experiencing a seamless continuation of his performance with Lazio, marked by several noteworthy displays of skill. The center forward for the Biancoceleste team has begun the championship season on a positive note, which has brought him a great deal of personal satisfaction. As a result of his impressive performances, Castellanos has been included on the list of pre-callups for Scaloni's Argentina, which is certainly a noteworthy accomplishment for the rising star.

According to Sarri's confirmation, Castellanos has secured a spot in the Argentina national team. Taty has been chosen by Scaloni to be part of the roster for the World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil, which are set to take place in November. Although it is uncertain whether he will be able to participate, this selection is a clear indication of the high regard in which the Lazio center forward is held.

Castellanos has left a strong impression on Scaloni with his recent performances. He has demonstrated his abilities in games against Celtic, Atalanta, Sassuolo, and also Feyenoord, as a substitute. Due to Immobile's physical issues, Castellanos was allowed to shine and has played in four consecutive matches, including the opening match of the championship until against Fiorentina recently. He has only made six appearances for Argentina's Under 23s (2020 Olympic qualifiers). Like him, Kamada and Guendouzi, who stayed in Formello during the last break in October, aim to return to the national squad.
