Felipe Anderson Reconsiders Extending His Contract With Lazio

Juventus is interested in Felipe Anderson as a potential free agent next summer. However, new sources indicate that the Brazilian winger is thinking about extending his contract with Lazio.

Felipe Anderson appears to be on the edge of departing Stadio Olimpico, considering the stalling discussions over his new contract. His current contract expires on June 30, allowing him to start negotiations with a new club.

While Juventus is widely seen as the frontrunner, the situation remains uncertain. According to LaLazioSiamoNoi and Tuttomercatoweb, Anderson is considering the prospect of extending his contract with Lazio, which might lead to a reopening of discussions.

Felipe Anderson, who turns 31 in April, is in his second term with The Aquile, having previously played there from 2013 to 2018. Following spells at West Ham United and FC Porto, he returned to Lazio in the summer of 2021, helping the team finish second in Serie A last season.

In the current 2023/24 season, the winger's performances have been lackluster, with only three goals and seven assists to his name so far.
