[Official] Kamenovic Heads To Switzerland On Loan To Fc Yverdon Till The End Of This Season

Lazio have made another move regarding a surplus player, at least for the time being. Dimitrije Kamenovic will be loaned out for the remainder of the season, as reported by Corriere dello Sport, with the Serbian set to head to Switzerland.

He will join FC Yverdon, a club recently promoted to the top division and fresh off a 2-1 victory in the derby against Servette. In the interim, Lazio has replaced him in training with André Anderson, whose contract runs until 2025, though the final resolution is likely to be postponed until summer.

Signed from FK Čukarički in 2021, the former Serbian U21 international (with 12 appearances for the national youth team) has struggled to establish himself at Biancoceleste, making just one appearance in three years: 44 minutes against Hellas Verona on the final matchday of the 2021/22 season.

Marginalized from Sarri's tactical plans, the 2000-born footballer was disappointed last summer for failing to secure a move to relaunch his career, and in January, he remained in Formello due to the absence of concrete offers.

Kamenovic is expected to join his new team in the coming hours. Further arrangements will be sought for him in June, as his contract with Lazio runs until 2026.
