Sarri’s Lazio Target Young Striker Esposito For Summer Reinforcements

Lazio are set to kick off a fresh chapter with Maurizio Sarri at the helm, marking his return to the Biancoceleste bench after the brief Baroni spell. Following a productive meeting in Castelfranco Piandisco between Sarri and sporting director Angelo Fabiani, the details of the coach’s contract and summer transfer strategy have been finalized.

One of Sarri’s immediate priorities is reinforcing the attack. With Castellanos currently the only recognized striker, Sarri is eager to add more firepower to his squad. Sources close to the club indicate that Noslin is not considered a reliable alternative by the new coach.

In response, Lazio are turning their attention to one of Italy’s brightest young prospects: Francesco Pio Esposito. The 19-year-old forward, owned by Inter but impressing on loan at Spezia, had a standout campaign in Serie B, notching 19 goals and narrowly missing out on promotion in a hard-fought playoff final. Esposito’s performances have made him a highly coveted target at Formello.

However, securing his signature won’t be straightforward. Inter have reportedly set a €25 million price tag for the talented striker. While the fee presents a challenge, Lazio’s management remains optimistic about strengthening the squad as Sarri’s ambitious project gets underway.

With new ideas and fresh energy, the Biancoceleste are determined to build a competitive team and look to the future with renewed confidence.
