Lotito: "Lazio Will Always Be With Me. I Have Never Considered Selling."

November 26, 2025

Claudio Lotito has moved quickly to shut down the latest rumors linking Lazio to potential investors from the Middle East. In recent days, speculation had circulated about the possible involvement of an Arab fund interested in acquiring the Biancoceleste club. The president, however, has categorically denied any such possibility.

Speaking to Agenzia Dire in the corridors of Palazzo Madama, Lotito addressed the matter directly and left no room for interpretation. When asked whether Lazio were for sale, his answer was immediate. “Is Lazio for sale? No. I have never considered selling. Which Arab fund? Lazio will always be with me.”

Lotito then clarified reports involving a phone conversation with Luca Lotti, which some had interpreted as related to the sale of the club. According to the president, the discussion had nothing to do with Lazio. “I have a good relationship with Lotti. We have never discussed Lazio. He was telling me about the difficulties involving the sale of Empoli,” Lotito explained.

The president also emphasized the financial strength of the club, outlining the value of its assets in detail. “Lazio has three hundred million euros in real estate assets, three hundred fifty million euros in player assets, and controls a club that has been generating revenue for twenty two years. It is worth eight hundred fifty million euros. I have not asked anyone for anything. Do you think I need the money? I do not think so.”

Lotito’s statements reaffirm his firm control over Lazio and his commitment to the club’s future. Despite the ongoing challenges on the sporting front, the owner made it clear that the club’s financial foundations remain solid and that he has no intention of handing the reins to foreign investors.
